Dating back to 1953, Roma started as a small pasta manufacturer that was subsequently acquired in 1984 by the Buontempo family. They then began a new venture, pioneering alternative grain foods that expanded over decades to the large scale manufacturing business based in the South East Suburbs of Melbourne.

From humble beginnings Roma has grown to become one of the Largest Allergen Free Manufacturers in the Southern Hemisphere.

With 1 in 10 kids developing an allergy before their first birthday, Roma plays a critical role in the lives of many families and consumers to ensure they have access to safe and delicious food options.
